The wait is over. Today, the 2026 European Senior Fencing Championships officially get underway in Antony, France, bringing together the continent’s finest athletes for six days of world-class competition.
The opening day features two individual events. Men’s Épée will start at 08:30, while Women’s Sabre will begin at 12:30. Throughout the day, Europe’s leading athletes will battle through the preliminary rounds and direct eliminations in pursuit of a place in the evening finals and a chance to become European Champion.
As the most important event on the European fencing calendar, the championships offer a unique opportunity to see Olympic champions, world medallists and rising stars competing for one of the sport’s most prestigious titles.
