The EFC U14 Circuit continued this weekend in Grodzisk, Poland, where young sabre fencers competed at the Grodzisk Sabre 2026 – IX Memorial of Jerzy Pawłowski. Over two days of competition, athletes had the opportunity to gain valuable international experience and fight for podium places in both men’s and women’s individual events.
In the men’s sabre competition, Guilherme Botelho of Luxembourg claimed the gold medal after defeating Poland’s Simon Rajlich in the final. The host nation also showed strong depth throughout the event, with Aleksander Kostarski and Kevin Swiatkiewicz both reaching the podium and sharing bronze medals.
The women’s event brought success for the home nation, with Poland taking three of the four podium places. Marianna Sosnowska captured the title ahead of Julia Glazewska, while Katarzyna Bronakowska secured bronze alongside Julia Beltran Gil of Spain.
