U14 Circuit Crowns Burgas Champions

The EFC U14 Circuit event in Burgas, Bulgaria, concluded with two days of exciting sabre action as young athletes from across Europe competed for individual and team honours.

Individual Titles Decided


The boys’ individual sabre competition was won by Romania’s Nichita Tomac, who produced an impressive performance to take the gold medal. Bulgaria’s Boris Shutov finished second, while the bronze medals were shared by Romania’s Stelica Petre and Turkey’s Yusuf Mete Ozturk.

In the girls’ event, Georgia’s Elene Inasaridze claimed victory to secure the gold medal. Romania’s Carla Lisneanu earned silver, while Sofia Delcheva of Bulgaria and Melissa Raggi of Italy completed the podium with bronze medals.

Team Success for Romania and Bulgaria


Romania topped the podium in the boys’ team competition. The winning team of Luca Asavoaie, Casian Mihailescu, Stelica Petre and Nichita Tomac defeated Bulgaria 1, represented by Boris Gavrailov, Damian Mierzwinski, Petar Petrov and Boris Shutov, in the final. The Mixed 1 team, consisting of Rosalin Angelov, Roni Bindal, Guilherme Botelho and Martin Ivanov, secured third place.

In the girls’ team event, Bulgaria 1 captured the title thanks to Sofia Delcheva, Lora Ganeva and Marina Vasileva. The Mixed team of Elene Inasaridze, Lora Kokocinski, Siana Todorova and Steliana Yordanova finished second, while Romania 2, represented by Delia Dragan, Amalia Ercus, Antonia Neagu and Yana Zikovski, completed the podium in third place.
