Four days of individual and team battles await at the European U23 Championships in Italy

A Key Moment for the Next Generation

The European fencing community now turns its attention to European U23 Fencing Championships 2026, set to take place in Cagliari from 25 to 28 April 2026. As one of the most important milestones in the transition from junior to senior level, this championship offers a unique stage for Europe’s most promising talents to confirm their potential and take a decisive step forward in their careers.

Four Days of High-Level Competition

The championship will open on 25 April with individual events in women’s épée, men’s foil, and men’s sabre, leading into the first medal decisions of the competition. The following day continues with men’s épée, women’s foil, and women’s sabre, completing the individual programme.

From 27 April, the focus shifts to team competitions, where collective strength, strategy, and unity come into play. Women’s épée teams, men’s foil teams, and men’s sabre teams will take to the pistes first, followed on the final day by men’s épée teams, women’s foil teams, and women’s sabre teams. Each evening will culminate in finals and medal ceremonies, bringing the best athletes of the day into the spotlight.
