The 2026/2027 European fencing season continues this weekend, 19–20 September, with three competitions taking place across the continent. From Bratislava–Šamorín to Cluj-Napoca and Sofia, fencers will return to the pistes for another exciting weekend of European Circuit action.
Eurofence League Heads to Bratislava–Šamorín
Slovakia will welcome the Eurofence League Circuit Bratislava–Šamorín, with men's and women's foil competitions scheduled across 19 and 20 September.
The event will bring together fencers from across Europe, offering an opportunity to compete internationally and continue building momentum at the beginning of the new season.

Young Foilists Meet in Cluj
At the same time, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, will host another stop of the U14 European Circuit.
Young fencers will compete in men's and women's foil, continuing a season designed to give Europe's youngest athletes valuable international competition experience.

U14 Sabre Action in Sofia
The third European Circuit event of the weekend takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria, where U14 sabre fencers will compete in men's and women's individual events.
The competition will provide another opportunity for young athletes to test themselves internationally, gain valuable experience and continue their development in one of fencing's most dynamic weapons.
